How do I update the info of the music on my micro sd card?

it seems that the computer that I take it from recognizes the info I type in, but once I put it on the card, it doesn't. Like, I have songs with the same artist sorted but it never applies it on the card so I have a folder where it cannot sort the artist. I want to change that so it isn't all unorganized and I can listen to one singer without going into multiple folders...but no matter how many times I try to fix it on the comp then try to apply it to the card, it won't update it. Plus, I cannot do it over the phone. What do I do? I have a Samsung Messager Touch BTW.
