How to store canned food?

I feed my cat blue spa select canned food about 2 -3 times. She eats blue longevity for kittens dry food. I leave her dry food out 24/7 so when ever she is hungry she goes and eats a couple of pebbles. Anyways I was wondering about where to store NOT-OPENED canned food. As of now I been storing her canned food in a cabinet with her dry food and if the can is open I put it in the fridge in a zip lock bag. Am I suppose to store the non-opened canned in the fridge to? or leave it where it is at right now.
