Whats a good Harley or Harley-esque bike for a beginner to have as a first bike?

With gas prices going up and the way my truck just eats gas like a fat kid makes cake disappear getting a bike (long time wish of mine) now has a new appeal with reliability, longevity, and fuel efficiency. Anyway I never really grew up on bikes but have always wanted one and am looking for advice on whats a good bike thats either a Harley or much like one thats good for beginners?
