Illegal for a job to take you off the schedule?

So Monday, I gave my two week notice to my job. It was over the phone, and I was very respectful about it. The next day I had work so I went in, and tried to clock in. And the computer said I wasn't in their file at all. No manager was there but a sales lead was (they're sales associates with higher power) Her name was Megan. Megan made a phone call to the Manager, Laura; the one I talked to about my two weeks. According to Megan, Laura said the impression she got about my phone call was that I didn't want to work there anymore so she took me off. I never gave a negative impression at all and Idk if this is considered being fired but yeah I had to get sent home. To the best of my knowledge, I have her a two week notice, not a one day notice. Is this illegal or what?
