Are Alanon/AA people concerned?

Now that multiple long term and large sample studies have show that sobriety leads to death (on average) 3 years younger than people who abuse alcohol frequently and 9 year younger than people who use it moderately, does this give you cause for concern or do you feel the better quality of life is worth sacrificing some longevity?
