Are they duo core? I wouldn't buy any computer that isn't at least duo core. But, getting back to the question. Laptop or desktop? Makes a difference in your choice. If laptop, I would go with the Asus - long history of trouble free. If desktop, go with the Dell. I bought a Dell desktop about 8 years ago, and it's still plugging away. All I've done is add RAM. $200 price difference is worth solidity...but the Asus laptop is solid also.
