Why do people give me a hard time about the way I'm raising my child?

When I buy things, I don't buy them for the name, but for quality and longevity! With that said, I don't like clothes from Khols or old navy not because they're inexpensive, but because they have boring, non original styles and wash them once and out they go. I like Ralph lauren clothing because the materials are great and they look so great on my son. People make annoying comments like he'll grow out of it etc so what? The $80 I spent on 4 outfits would have been used on something like my nails, but since my boy comes first, I don't see why not? Life is too short and if I like to dress my son up, why should it bother people? Dress your kids the way you want and let me dress mine! My son has food, books and toys, so it's not like he's being deprived. How do I tell these people to butt out?
